An extremely sensitively drawn portrait, executed in graphite with a stippling technique which mimics the soft-focus of a stipple engraving. Touches of soft blush watercolour wash is added for the cheeks and lips.
On wove paper watermarked 'J Whatman Turkey Mill 1834'.
