An interesting engraving showing the Royal Victoria and Sussex Hotel at Tunbridge Wells. Formerly the 'Sussex Hotel', the name changed after a visit of the Duchess of Kent and the future Queen Victoria in 1834.
On watermarked 1840 wove paper.
