This work came to us as an individual artwork under the name of the artist 'Kit Hall'. Though not much can be traced of this artist, there is someone by that name listed as one of the 1946 founding members of the Ludlow Society of Artists, an artist collective near Birmingham, so it is possible this work was one of many by that artist to be displayed in their local gallery.
