George Wallwyn Shepheard (1804–1852) was the eldest son of artist George Shepheard (1770?–1842) and member of an old Herefordshire family.  He painted landscapes in watercolour and travelled much on the Continent, marrying an Italian woman at Florence in 1838. From 1837 to 1851 he was an exhibitor at the Royal Academy, showing chiefly views in France and Italy and studies of trees.
