The bookplate was designed by Erhard Amadeus-Dier for Hans Tomaschek von Stradowa.
Erhard Amadeus-Dier (1893–1969) was an Austrian painter, graphic artist, designer and composer who fought in the underground resistance movement during World War II. He was the designer of the Austrian Schilling banknotes from 1949 to 1954.
