A stylish original Art Nouveau bookplate, or ex libris, dating from around 1910 and associated with the Viennese Secession movement.
The bookplate was designed by Erhard Amadeus-Dier for Joe Kramer.
Erhard Amadeus-Dier (1893–1969) was an Austrian painter, graphic artist, designer and composer who fought in the underground resistance movement during World War II. He was the designer of the Austrian Schilling banknotes from 1949 to 1954.
