An original early 19th-century graphite drawing Landscape Sketch, Study in Reflection.
An intriguing sketch in graphite showing riverbank landscape elements reflected in water. The sketch is unsigned, but has evidently been collected and preserved, laid down on backing card, and comes from a collection which includes another landscape drawing signed 'Mr Joseph Barker'—possibly the landscape painter Joseph Barker (1782–1809), of the famous Barker of Bath family of artists. On wove paper with watermark 'J Brown', laid down on card. The paper has the appearance of a sketchbook page.
