An interesting, colourful view near Ramakristapuram in the southern Indian state of Telangana (Ramakistapuram is the anglicised name for Ramakrishnapuram).
Albert Frankel was born in India in 1902. He appears to have been related to the German artist Samuel Harper Frankel, artist to the Kaiser, who came to Hyderabad at the request of the Nizam and established an eminent photographic studio in 1885. Albert Frankel subsequently worked at the family studio, where he was a talented photographer and artist. He is believed to have moved to England in 1946.
