A delightful watercolour view in the Gulmarg region of Kashmir, India, dating from around 1909.
The artist, an Andrea Lucey, is possibly related to a Mr Lucey, who in 1909 was Vice-Principal of Sri Pratap College in Srinagar, the oldest and premier institute of higher education in Kashmir. Mr Lucey was reportedly a great scholar.
