This delightful watercolour forms part of a collection of works that we have for sale by the anonymous same hand, dated 1894 to 1907.
The varied locations cover north and central Wales, Derbyshire, Shropshire, North Yorkshire, the Lake District and Suffolk, and include the country houses Knolton Hall in Oveton, North Wales, and Riseborough Hall in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
Many of the pictures include charming detail such as small figures, animals, flowers or boats.
