An original 1787 etching print, Francesco Bartolozzi RA, Four Putti.

A beautiful etching by Francesco Bartolozzi RA (1728–1815) after a drawing by Giovanni Battista Cipriani (1727–1785). Lettered in the plate 'G.B. Cipriani inv. F. Bartolozzi sculp. London Pub as the act directs Mar.h 1.t 1787 by F. Bartolozzi'. Etching and stipple engraving.

The sheet has been laid down on card, adhered at the corners and centre. There are pencil inscriptions on the back which appear to relate to framing, and partial inscriptions visible at the lower edge of the sheet, as shown.
