A beautiful topographical watercolour of Blea Tarn in the Lake District by William Green of Ambleside (1760–1823). Blea Tarn is sited in a hanging valley between Little Langdale and the larger Great Langdale to the north. Here, sheep graze in the foreground in an otherwise uninhabited landscape.
