Atelier Testemale was located at 16 rue de la Paix in Paris. The workshop worked with the biggest fashion brands in the 1950s to 1970s, producing designs for fabric influenced by the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. Their organic, floral and geometric motifs draw on decorative tradition, reimagined in the vivid colours of 1960s modernity.
Examples can be found in the Rids Museum in Rhode Island, USA.
