Arabella Lambert was daughter of Hull wine merchant John Beevor Lambert. She married York wine merchant William Prest.
This picture is part of an interesting collection that tells a story of early 19th-century Hull, its flourishing industry and the nascent Primitive Methodist community in the city.
With gum arabic to intensify the colour. On paper with embossed decorative border.
