Charles W. Fothergill (fl.1875–1925) is known to have exhibited three watercolours at the Society of British Artists between 1880 and 1884, including The Mouth of the Dart and Hulks in Portsmouth Harbour. He exhibited a painting at the Royal Academy in 1900. He had addresses in London and Cranbrook, Kent.
