This charming small artwork forms part of a collection of English interwar illustrations that we have for sale. The artworks, which span the period 1906 to 1936 but predominantly date from the interwar years, show the influence of Art Deco on illustration during this time. Many of the works are children's illustrations, involving fantasy or anthropomorphism, or feature a playful sense of humour.
