Attrib. John Henderson Snr Mountain Scene

An original early 19th-century watercolour painting, Attrib. John Henderson Snr Mountain Scene.

An evocative scene executed in watercolour, showing two figures walking in the mountains. This picture closely shares stylistic features with others in this collection that are the work of the celebrated landscape painter John Henderson Snr (1764—1843). As well as being a fine artist himself, Henderson was an early patron of Thomas Girtin and JMW Turner.
