An animated Neapolitan scene showing locals dancing the Tarantella, a southern Italian folk dance.
The lithographer Gaetano Dura lived and worked in Naples. In the 1830s he joined the lithographer and publisher Federico Gatti. This partnership gave rise to a prolific print business, primarily devoted to the publication of popular prints describing the everyday life of Naples.
