A beautiful, vivid botanical watercolour of an Alpine wildflower, painted from life at Aix-les-Bains in the late 19th century.
This is one of a collection centred around St Moritz in Switzerland’s Engadin valley. Other locations include Lucerne, Cadenabbia on Lake Como in Italy and Aix-les-Bains in the Savoie, eastern France.
