A set of five original 19th-century graphite drawings by C. and H. Ward, Rural Scenes.

A charming set of five graphite drawings by C. and H. Ward dating from 1877-1892. Subjects include Tintern in Wales, Alpine mill, country cottages, lane and bridge with figures fishing. One drawing is on coloured scratch paper; others have white chalk highlights. 

Four are signed and one is initialled indistinctly.
There are some minor marks and light creasing in places as shown. Three have light foxing and one has a 1cm repaired tear at the left edge.
Sizes range from 21 x 27cm to 30 x 42cm.
