This watercolour comes from a collection of paintings we have by the same hand. A note with the collection (see photo) dates the pictures to 1892 and a Nina Matheson of Pulborough. The collection includes various local views, full of rural charm, including St Mary’s Church, New Place Manor and views on the River Arun. There are also landscapes in Sproughton, Ipswich, including Sproughton Mill, the Red House and views on the River Gipping.
