An original late 19th-century watercolour painting, Robert Finlay McIntyre, Homeward Bound, Sennen, Cornwall.

A beautifully painted impressionistic subject by Robert Finlay McIntyre (1846–1906). The painting depicts figures travelling home on their laden donkeys at Sennen, on Cornwall's far south-west coast.

McIntyre was based in London, often painting at Hampstead, and he exhibited at The Royal Academy, The New England Art Club and The Goupil Group.

In watercolour with white bodycolour highlights. On board.

Titled on the verso and with additional inscription 'Regents Park Road'. Also exhibiting label '65' on the verso.
