An original early 19th-century pen & ink drawing, F.W.F., Entrance to Fulham.

An interesting and well drawn sketch.

First recorded by name in 691, Fulham was a manor and ancient parish which originally included Hammersmith. The 19th century saw increasing urbanisation and industrialism coming to the rural hamlets that made up the parish of Fulham, as well as growing transport links to the area.

On pale pink paper.
