Gustave Bourgogne Beethoven's Eighth Symphony

An original mid-20th-century gouache painting, Gustave Bourgogne, Beethoven's Eighth Symphony.

A stunning interpretation in gouache of a piece of music, Beethoven's Eighth Symphony. The artist evokes a dreamlike landscape, with billows in pinks and blues, golden sprays of flowers and leaves, and what look like angelic or ethereal human figures.
