An exceptionally vivid painting in gouache showing the costume of a local woman at Brenner, in South Tyrol, Italy, a German speaking municipality on the border with Austria.
On watermarked J Whatman Turkey Mill 1834 paper with 'Innsbruck blind stamp at the lower left. The lower left corner of the paper is clipped as shown.
